Michael McPake
Director
Michael established Industrial Resin Systems in March 2021 after a number of years working in the resin flooring industry.
He has a wealth of knowledge, from traditional resin installations to modern screeds and resin systems. He has also been involved in the specification of bespoke resin solutions to major clients, specifically involved with patents of seamless, abrasion-resistant anti-static flooring for use in distribution centres and AI medical areas.
In his free time, Michael enjoys playing golf and taking walks with our company mascot Toby and his wife Rachel.
Scott Gordon
Commercial Manager
Scott has over 17 years of construction industry experience, working specifically in the flooring sector, and has extensive knowledge of resin flooring, screeding, raised access flooring and soft floor finishes.
He studied Construction Management at Glasgow Caledonian University and has an HND in Quantity Surveying as well attaining an SVQ Level 7 in Estimating.
His employment history includes:
- General & Technical Flooring Services 2019 – 2022 (3 years)
- IFT (Integrated Flooring Technologies) 2014 – 2019 (5 years)
- Veitchi Flooring Scotland 2005 – 2014 (9 years)
In his free time, Scott enjoys his time with his wife Emma and two boys, James & Charlie. He has been known to frequent a golf course on occasion.
