What kind of personal data do we collect?

Customer Data

To allow Industrial Resin Systems Ltd to provide our customers with the best possible service and products, it is necessary to process certain information. This information includes but is not limited to name, company, telephone number and email address. As all payments for services and products come directly from the customer through BACS payment of cheque, no financial details in relation to customers are obtained or kept on file.

Supplier Data

Supplier data kept on file pertains to details of the main point of contact and associates within the business who process transactions in addition to bank details in order for payment of such transactions.

How do we use your personal data?

Customer Data

Details will be used to process and fulfil requests made by the client to Industrial Resin Systems Ltd. This will be required for the generation of quotations, orders, delivery, invoicing and any other contractual agreement between the parties.

Supplier Data

The primary reason for retaining supplier personal data is to ensure that we are able to complete the contractual arrangements between the parties and comply with any legal and binding requirements.

How do we protect your personal data?

The company takes the security of your data seriously. We have internal policies and controls in place to try and ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed. Your data is not accessed except by our employees in the performance of their duties.

Why do we process your personal data?

Contract

Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party to or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Customer Data

For example, it needs to process customer data to administer a contract and to apply for payment in accordance with the contract. In some cases, the company needs to process data to ensure that it is complying with its legal or fiscal obligations. For example, to comply with Health and Safety or HMRC Regulations.

Supplier Data

We store and process the personal data of individuals within supplier organisations in order to facilitate the receipt of services from suppliers. We also hold financial details, so that we can pay for services. We deem all such activities to be necessary within contract and legitimate interests.

Your Rights

As a data subject, you have a number of rights, you can:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your data upon request
  • Require the company to change incorrect or incomplete data
  • Require the company to delete or stop processing your data
  • Object to the processing of your data where the company is relying on its legitimate interests as the legal ground for processing
